About Us
Meaghan Blanzy
Originally from central lower Michigan, Meaghan grew up in the country with many horses and dogs. Here, she found her love of animals. She always found herself enjoying caring for them, and wanted to carry that passion by working with them regularly. In 2013, Meaghan became certified in Equine Massage and Licensed as a Massage Therapist for humans through the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education in Mount Pleasant, MI. However, life took a different direction and she found herself in the Upper Peninsula to be closer with family. Here, she has five dogs, “Alaska”, “Norie”, “Rocky”, “Jilly Bean” and “Danger”. Outside of work, Meaghan enjoys traveling, cooking and playing video games.

Jessie
This is Jessie, she’s worked as a receptionist at Kinross Veterinary Clinic for a little over a year now! When she’s not at work, she’s caring for her own two animals: The Big Cheese(Cat) and Meatball Soup(Dog). In her free time she enjoys hiking, fishing, playing board games with her family, and anything outside as long as the sun is shining.
Pam
Pam grew up in the area and has been with KVC for almost two years. When she isn’t helping to take care of your pets her favorite thing to do is spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys a variety activities such as camping, boating, crafting and gardening to name a few.

Dr. Cassie Ayers Panik
Dr. Cassie Ayers Panik has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Upper Peninsula since graduating in 2009 from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from the Ann Arbor area, but moved north when job opportunities for her and her husband were available and she hasn't regretted it. As a veterinarian, Dr. Cassie knows the importance of and seeks to strengthen the bond between owner and pet with each visit. She enjoys meeting each new addition, whether young or older, and loves to see her patients grow and mature each year.
Besides being a veterinarian, she is a wife to Michael and mom to three great kids who bring fun, love and challenges to each day. Rusty Redford, a Chow Chow, joined their family 4 years ago and has fit in beautifully, watching over them and being adored by all. In the summer, you can find her in her flower and vegetable gardens, riding her horse, Sam, hiking, or enjoying the sun anywhere it is shining. In the winter, she enjoys cross-country skiing and snowmobiling with family and friends, or just curling up with a good book. Dr. Cassie works part-time (typically Thursdays) at our clinic and covers extra days when Dr. Jill is away for Army Reserve duties.
